Family Birthday Celebration

Completed this LO last night.

Sometimes, all that it needs are the embellishments to complete the look so that I need not overdo the paper embellishing or layering.

The number of buttons = the age.

Hope you like it despite it being a simple LO. I really liked this Pink Paislee Office Lingo Collection Die Cut PP. I've also used up scraps of my October Afternoon PP (the red bits) from one of my paper kits. Played with AdornIt Family Defined PP as well in this LO.

Journalling:

Dave turned 35 yrs young on 6th Sept 2008. I had surprised him with a MO-CHA Green Tea Cake from CANELE as an early morning birthday surprise. That's why we're still in our sleep clothes! LOL! Of course the lil one is much more into blowing the candles & cutting the cake !!!

p/s: Oh yes, the background is my floor. So, the LO is pretty much circular on it's own. My DH thinks it looks like pizza! *faintz*

It's really difficult to get a decent photo of Daren to look at the camera while he's sitted in front of the birthday cake. He's so into blowing out the candles and cutting the cake; so focused that he forgets all else until the deed is done!!
