results in happiness. Don't ya think?
I believe that when one is contented with what you have and giving thanks for the little blessings in our everyday will result in one being a happy person. To think/enjoy of the good and learn from the bad.
So happened that I was thinking of doing a layout featuring a mixture of my little girl shots to one of when in my 20s to my current year of photos.
I hoped over to check out MadeWithLove's website to see what's cooking for the mid-month challenge. Turns out that Leena, one of my favourite talented local scrappers, was hosting October's mid-month challenge which was to focus on the 'All-About-Me' theme.
I was woah!! This is really so timely! So I just went and scrapped a LO, checking out to see what was the challenge's requirements.
Chipboards - Checked
Use of Hamblys - Checked
(ok, I used my long-hoarded stash, 1st generation range of Hamblys; I hope Hambly lovers won't stone me for that!!! LOL!)
One word description of where I am for the LO - checked
Multiple-photos LO - checked.
And I submitted what I did. I won't say that it's what exactly I have in mind, but close enough. Just making do with what I can remember having in my stash and making the best out of them!!!
Let me know if you love this LO k??
Here it is:
I played with the various print modes on my photo printer (antique, sepia, black & white and colour). Loving the antique look actually.
The main patterned papers I used were Making Memories' Noteworthy paper and Pink Paislee paper and Making Memories' 5th Avenue Journal Spiral Book pages. Word strips are from Teresa Collins Journal-It patterned paper.
I did some layering with Heidi Swapp's Ghost Clocks with Making Memories' Jumbo Blossom and added in a key from 7-gypsies (was thinking of it as the Key to Happiness)
My Journalling as above.
Stay tuned for Pink Sketches #10!!
Have a blessed day ahead!!
