An Altered Tag and a LO to share

Hi everyone!
How's the mid-week coming along?
Wishing all my USA friends a Happy Thanksgiving!!!

What have I been up to the past couple days or rather nights?
I did up an altered tag for the November Groovie Challenge hosted by Groovie Scraps Cafe.
Thanks Groovie Stef for providing the raw tag, a ribbon and matching PP for the GMC this time round!

Here's what I did.
It says :Family is my Home Sweet Home.

The back of it was a family photo.

Something really simple for my man to place it in his office. Decided not to over-embellish this item. You know men, they are not really "over-the-top" type of people (majority). I think mine likes a clean cut, to the point type of altered projects.
LOL!

In the meantime, my layout for next week's Pink Sketch is done.
But sorry! No sneak peeks yet!

Also,
I'm in the midst of doing up some Christmas cards.

I did 7 cards on Monday and Tuesday night.
And,

I realized that I have lots of cards to make once I started making them!

Let's see.... I have 8 cards to make for Daren's pre-school teachers.

I'll be making some for my Pink Sketches DT mates.

Some close friends.

Some close SB buddies.

Oh my! It's really alot of cards!

And I think I'm slightly running out of time!

LOL!
Honestly, I wasn't prepared for wanting to make Christmas cards this year as I'm not much of a card-maker which you can plainly see. hahahaha.

But I guess if I don't get started this year, I think I will procastinate till next year.
Anyway, as you can tell from the photos that I have a common stamped theme this year. An image of an angel bearing a gift that proclaims " Almighty God, King of kings, Holy One, Creator, Lamb of God, Redeemer, Jesus"
That's the reason or rather, MY Reason why we celebrate this season. To remember that Christ was born to us this day (though the actual birthday wasn't 25th December but anyway, let's not go into there on this blog), as a baby, to go through all humanity to be our Saviour and Redeemer.
Here's 2 photos of my cards:

Stamping was done using the Unity Stamp Kits which I've been subbing to the past 3 months. I'm now really making full use of them!

And nope, I'm solely a ink and stamp sort of gal. Haven't quite figured out adding colours to my stamped images...maybe I will but slowly along the way.

Alrighty, I gotta go and continue on with my work now.

Catch up with you all later!

Do continue leaving me your comments yah? Would love to blog hop over and leave mine for you!

Have a great Thanksgiving!!!
