From a 6km run that I had this evening!!
Clocked that distance in approximately 55 min?
The feeling of it all is exhilarating!
In Singlish* (*Singapore Lingo for my dear overseas readers), SHIOK**!!!!
**It would mean an exceedingly, satisfying feeling
I'm doing this all in preparation for an upcoming 10km Great Eastern Women's Run in Singapore, which is also my 1st!
Why do I bother running? Some of you may ask.
Well, let's just say that I would like to challenge myself to do something physically seemingly impossible for myself (that's in my head), whom by the way am not much of a runner/jogger, yet I think it's still remotely attainable. It's a matter of mind and spirit over the human body!!
And I get to "boast" to my son when he's older that his mommy did a 10km run in her lifetime!!
Also, it would greatly benefit my body and health and cardiovascular system. I really need to cut down the rate that my butt and wasit are growing at!!!
As much I love to sit down and scrapbook... I seriously need to get off my butt and do some form of exercise!!!
The best of all, I get to record these moments down in my blog and possibly in my scrap pages!!
LOL!
Anyway, have a good weekend with your loved ones!
Daren and myself are counting down to the day that Dave gets back home to us from Hong Kong!!

congrats sophia! it's good to hear that you're keeping healthy with running!!! that's such a big accomplishment because i don't think i would be able to even keep up with you in a 6km run. haha. =) keep us posted with your 10km training!

you're an inspiration you know? WTG!! Jia yu!
Many pregnant women suffer from this due to the extra weight you’re not
used to carrying. Switch to thick-soled, soft shoes like a good sneaker,
and add an arch support molded to your foot that only an orthopedic can
construct. Resist the over-the-counter arch supports because they won’t
provide long-lasting relief.
