Paint, Glitter and Butterfly

While caring for my boy at home as he recovers from the dreaded HFMD, I managed to just complete a LO for a LSS challenge set by Aida, while my boy naps during the day and slept at night.
I was rather down in the dumps seeing how quiet he was during the past few days. The ulcers must have been really painful that he refused to even drink at all!! He was so quiet that he justs answers us by nodding/shaking his head, pointing to certain key items or just taking his shoes to us and points to the door, indicating that he wanted to go out.
It's so unlike his usual robust, bubbly, babbling self that we are so used to. We played the voice recording of him singing and laughter, to him. He just held onto my phone and looked at it blankly, without much emotions. I just teared quietly when I put him to bed, stroking his hair and whispering how much I love him and how much we hope to see him get better sooner and start drinking more and eat (if at all possible) and of course, back to his usual self.
Out of all these, I was just browsing through the studio photo-shoot photos that I had printed out. This particular photo just grabbed me to scrap it. It reflects my boy's usual happy and playful self which I missed so dearly!!
Just to share:
Layering with the help of 3-D foam dots and lots of play with Stickles Glitter Glue in Platinum and Fruit Punch
Laced fabric (iron-on) butterfly used in my LO.
